I’ve been waiting over six months for an update on my insurance approval, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. I received a denial letter, and the insurance specialist, Candice, never reached out to me, not once. I’ve called the office multiple times, and every time I was told that my message would be routed to Candice, yet I never received a single follow-up or even a simple update. I needed to know what the next steps were so I could schedule my surgery, but the lack of communication made that impossible. Dr. Schwartz’s office has been very unprofessional throughout this process, and the ongoing communication issues are pushing me to no longer move forward with the surgery. I shouldn’t have to chase an office for months just to get basic information.

I won Dr. Schwartz’s “One Year of Botox” giveaway that was promoted on Instagram, but when I reached out to redeem it, I was told I needed to pay a $250 consultation fee, even though the prize was clearly advertised as FREE. I spoke with Jacob at the office, who said he would discuss waiving the fee with the doctor, but I never received any follow-up despite reaching out multiple times for over a month. It’s extremely disappointing to experience what feels like a misleading marketing tactic. Promoting a giveaway to gain social media exposure/following that isn’t honored as advertised borders on false advertising, and it’s CONCERNING for a medical practice to operate this way. At this point, I wouldn’t even trust this provider to inject me with Botox. What a joke.

The treatment I received, unfortunately, did not help me. However, my initial appointment was pleasant, the nurse was very kind and knowledgeable, and Dr. Schwartz was also kind and professional. The follow-up before the treatment was fine overall, though I wish there had been more transparency about the pre-treatment sign-off process. I ended up needing to drive there the day before the procedure (about 1.5 hours in traffic, one way), which required me to take additional time off work and caused some stress due to last-minute changes in my schedule. The treatment itself was carried out well, and the staff took excellent care of me. However, a few days afterward, when I shared some post-treatment symptoms, I felt that my concerns were dismissed by the nurse who followed up with me. She told me that my symptoms could not have been caused by the treatment. After doing my own research, I found that others who had undergone the same procedure reported similar symptoms. Given the sensitive nature of my condition and treatment, it was disheartening to have my experience invalidated in that way.
